The Warrior Weather Club
The Warrior Weather Club is one of Riverdale High School’s newest clubs. The club held it’s inaugural meeting in December 2024. And since that time it has accrued over thirty five student members to its roster. (And growing) With four faculty sponsors. They held it’s first outreach/educational even. Its first field experience opportunity, constructing the StormTrack & Education Lab where they installed a CoCoRaHS station TN-RD-142.
Mission Statement
The Warrior Weather Club (WarriorWc) Aims to educate and engage students in the science of weather and meteorology. Our goal is to promote learning and the appreciation of weather phenomena and to advocate on the importance of weather safety and preparedness.
Our club seeks to connect, engage, and involve students in a multitude of activities such as MetEd (UCAR), Ham Radio ( including MTEARS), Skywarn, CoCoRaHs, and the American Meteorological Society alone with Guest speakers, College and Career events. Professional meetings and presentations, the National Weather Service, Severe Weather Awareness Day, Local television stations, NASA, projects and experiments to only name a few.
We look forward to service, Learning and Fun
Today we humbly invite you to support our club through a donation of any kind that will directly enhance our students learning experiences. Your generous partnership will only help us grow future scientist and weather lovers.
Of course while any donation or dollar amount makes an immeasurable impact here are some suggested amounts we hope you will consider
CUMULUS LEVEL ($25) Will help our club acquire materials for experts and educational outreach
ALTOCUMULUS LEVER ($50) Will help our club purchase weather instruments for regular use, learning and sharing in outreach efforts
CIRRUS LEVEL (4100 OR MORE) Will help our club cover the costs of transportation for field trips, Registration fees to connect with professionals. And purchase technologies for studying and tracking weather, including reporting and helping others (eg GRLevelX,Ham RADIO)

Murfreesboro Christmas Parade
Decembers Club meeting will be all about the Christmas Parade
We will be looking for Volunteers to man several locations.
This annual event is but one of the ways that Stones River Amateur Radio Club
