Hi WarriorWX Families & Friends!
We have THREE (3) awesome BIG announcements to share with you this week. First, our very own Katelyn Fulton (Junior) has won 1st Place in Rutherford County’s Earth Day student poster contest! We are so proud of you, Katelyn. Thank you for representing WarriorWX and Riverdale High School with true Warrior Spirit!
The club had an amazing day at our 2nd Annual Spring Training on Saturday, April 18th. Students learned all about safe and effective storm spotting, built tornadoes, drove the radar, and got on the ham amateur radio bands! It was a wonderful day of student engagement and learning. We are extremely appreciative of the local experts in attendance who taught and served our students with their expertise and passion for weather – Paul Havlik, Jennifer Faulkner, & Brady Lutton. Thanks most especially to all the families and students who were a part and we are already excitedly looking forward to next year’s event.
